Booking and payment
How do I book?+
Bookings are made on our booking page (FareHarbor) by choosing the experience, date and group size. Payment is by card at the end.
How much does it cost?+
Prices are on the booking page, because they vary with the date and group size. You see the exact amount there before confirming.
Are prices per person?+
Yes, the price shown is per person.
Can I book on the same day?+
If there are places left, yes — but high season fills up early. Booking a few days ahead is safer.
Cancellation and sea conditions
Can I cancel?+
Yes — free cancellation up to 48 hours before your booking, with a full refund.
What if the sea is rough?+
If conditions are not safe we reschedule at no cost or refund in full. The call is always ours, for safety.
Ages and experience
From what age can children join?+
Kayak Benagil from 4 years. SUP Benagil and Sunset from 12. SUP Sunrise from 5. First Surf Experience from 12. Private surf from 8. Seven Hanging Valleys hike from 12 to 80.
Do I need experience?+
No. Every experience is led by certified guides and starts with an introduction. SUP and kayak stay in calm water close to the coast.
I'm not a strong swimmer. Can I join?+
Yes. A life jacket is mandatory and included on every water experience. Tell us at the start so we keep an extra eye.
Do minors need an adult?+
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
What to bring and what's included
What should I bring?+
Swimwear already on, a towel, dry clothes, water-resistant sunscreen and water. For the hike, closed shoes.
What's included?+
SUP and Kayak: board or kayak and paddle, life jacket, certified guide, insurance, GoPro photos and a dry bag. Surf: board, wetsuit and instructor. Hike: hotel transfer, guide, water and insurance.
Are photos included?+
Yes — GoPro photos are included on the Benagil experiences, the surf lessons and the hike. You get them afterwards.
Meeting points and duration
Where do we meet?+
SUP and Kayak: Benagil Beach, check-in 20 to 30 minutes before. Surf: Avenida do Rio, Riamar C building, Armação de Pêra, 15 minutes before. Hike: we pick you up at your hotel.
How long is each experience?+
SUP and Kayak 1h30. Surf lesson 2 hours. Surf course 3 hours. Private surf 2 hours. Seven Hanging Valleys hike 3h30.
Is there parking?+
Yes, next to Benagil Beach. In high season it fills early, so leave some margin.
What languages do guides speak?+
Portuguese, English, French and Spanish.
